This was an exciting competition launched by Ash Sakula Architects to design and build (from waste building materials) a Park on Wheels, a fully functioning garden that is moveable and will inspire community gardening in pocket spaces.
The Travelling Allotment was one of the winning designs that were picked. Its construction took place over two months at Canning Town Caranvanserai and the launch was in April 2015. It is serving as a community garden and it has been moved around the area and wheeled to various schools.
